company history

The company was founded in 1978. as an architectural design company for projecting health care buildings and similar institutions, as part of Public Health Institute of Zagreb city, and it exclusively dealt with services of technical consultation, designing and supervision of construction of health care buildings and similar institutions.

Even today we are one of the rare few with specialized teams in this area.

After the separation from Public Health Institute of Zagreb in 1990, the company does its business under the name of ZO-INVEST s.p.o. - engineering of health care buildings and similar institutions, and after becoming private in 1992, the company is 100% privately owned by its workers and does its business under the name of ZO-INVEST d.o.o. for designing, construction and commerce.

During the privatization we reconstructed the company and expanded its activities, and also developed modern business approach to market by providing a complete service for the Investors, everything from technological consultation, designing and obtaining the required permits and consents, to the construction of not only health care but all the high-raise buildings.

In the fall of 2004, ZO-INVEST expands its business to the sector of designing, installing and maintaining of elevators by establishing the department for elevators.
